Predictive Astrology - To Be Or Not To Be

My interest in predictive astrology has been sparked again. It seems each time I try to get into it, it's just too overwhelming and frankly, I just don't get how we can "change" or have changes happen to us by the movement of the planets in the sky.

Uranus is the planet that has changed my mind about predictive astrology. It has affected me entirely too much for me not to believe in it. So, I'm paying more attention to things like transits, secondary progressed chart sign and house changes and transits, etc.

Maybe it's also because this is the year that my Sun progresses into the next sign of Aquarius and I've just had my 2nd Lunar Return back to it's natal position. And since my Moon is Natally at 27ยบ Virgo I think I may have one more month of Virgo-ness until my Progressed Moon progresses into Libra for the 3rd time in my life. It should be interesting.

But, I suppose looking at "trends" and "themes" are the point with predictive astrology. I am very far away from saying to people that next Thursday at 11:11 am you will meet the love of your life - which is of course what people really want to hear. Who wouldn't? But, that's not how things work. Besides, quite frankly, I would much rather enjoy having something like that happen naturally instead of knowing before hand. Well, I suppose I would like to know if I would need to be dresses especially nice that day, have my hair curled and fixed and plenty of flattering make-up on. Other than that - natural and in perfect harmony and synchronicity is just fine with me.

When someone's Sun and Moon change their Progressed Sign within the same year - that is definitely a major change. It also happens that My Progressed Sun and Moon are Trine each other this year and Sextile my Natal Sun as well.

Uranus, Mars and Jupiter have all conjuncted and crossed over my Ascendant in the past 6 months making for some very interesting fireworks and drastic changes in my personality, attitudes and behavior. Keep in mind that these planet in conjuncting the Ascendant are also Opposing my Descendant and Squaring my IC/4th House Cusp and MC/10th House Cusp. I've often wondered why these 4 points are Square to one another - is that the Cross we have the bear in this life time - to be constantly trying to integrate these highly difficult points? Probably so.

After learning that about Age 41 or so we experience our Uranus Opposition I discussed with many people what happened in their lives at that age. What was reported was usually a divorce or a marriage, which is definitely very life-altering. For me, I got married at my Uranus Opposition and in a very quick time frame. I also talked with people who can't remember anything outstanding happening at that time in their life. I suppose the impact of the Uranus Opposition can come and go in some people's lives without it's massive, explosive, unpredictable energy making a life-altering change in some people's charts - but I doubt it.

Jupiter has recently move from Aries to Taurus and will soon be exiting my first house. Now that I realized was providing me with an extra dose of confidence to the point of it being too much and something I wasn't used and I didn't know how to handle that energy very productively. As I said, I'm going to be paying more attention to progressions, transits, solar and lunar charts, etc. to see how energies affect me and the people around me and in my life. My "day job" is currently in customer service and I can tell when people are behaving more erratically that normal.  I can also say that perhaps Jupiter has given me an extra dose of personal awareness.

I can definitely say that these 3 planets functioning together and impacting my Ascendant and first house had the energy of a constant electrical voltage flowing through me at varying levels. I felt like the energize bunny turned on high some days and other days people just needed to turn me off so I could get some rest. It was a constant high it seemed now that I'm almost through feeling this first house energy with Jupiter. Although, the energy of Uranus at about 6 degrees Aries which will be impacting my Ascendant again when it goes Retrograde. It seems I'm to experience this "personal" Uranian energy for quite some time as it transits my 1st House as it makes a Grand Trime with my Natal Sun and Natal Uranus as well.

Very Uranian time for me energized by Jupiter expansiveness and the Mars energy.
